Dear Indians: Stop Idolizing the West. The Goras In 3rd World Countries Are Not Perfect - Video 8192

In this video, I address a topic that many Indians can relate to – the fascination with the Western lifestyle, culture, and passport. It’s time to stop seeing the West as the ultimate standard of perfection. There’s no country, no lifestyle, and no passport that’s flawless. As an Indian passport holder, I want to remind my fellow Indians that while we should acknowledge and correct our flaws, it doesn’t mean we have to feel ashamed of who we are or where we come from. Recently, a series of Indian tourists in Thailand got attention for their behavior, which led to viral videos. Some of these tourists were mocked by influencers, myself included, for their ignorance and embarrassing actions. However, this also gave some Western tourists and expats a chance to look down on Indians, while ignoring their own flaws. In this video, I give both sides of the story, explaining that yes, we must call out mistakes when we see them, but that doesn’t mean we should idolize the West or believe that everything we do is wrong.
