This is the 4th episode in the series of making a sweater with the European Shoulder Contruction using the design of mine as an example - the Tree Trunk Sweater. In this episode we look at how the make the increases in the back piece to create the characteristic European Shoulder Seam. I will walk you through making knit and purl increases on both the right and the wrong side of the project (M1L, M1R, M1PL, M1PR). If you would like to see how to make an elastic and very stretchy cast-on you can have a look in TTT Part 1, Episode 2 (timestamp 18:47). If you experience problems getting an uneven tension on the right and the wrong side when going back and forth - showing up as horizontal lines on your project - you can also find some tips and tricks in TTT Part 1, Episode 2 (timestamp 26:10). There will be more tutorials to find in the playlist: " European Shoulder - Tree Trunk Tutorials" (TTT) Female Edition and Male Edition. They are in the making. .
