Sometimes you would be right to think the world of track cycling hates us for the fact we are currently the best in the world. They make snide comments and question our athletes, equipment & performances. The fact is, we are the best because of dedication, hard work, hard science, innovation, world class coaches, physios, sports scientists, engineers, mechanics and, at the tip of that spear are our super talented athletes. After changing the rules to try and stop a repeat of Team GB's domination at the Beijing Olympics, we came back and utterly dominated again - 10 events, 7 Gold, 1Silver & 1 Bronze.
