INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 9-25-24 | 1:00 a.m. LOCATION: Alameda & 6th St AREA/CITY: Los Angeles DETAILS: LAPD was in pursuit of an MTA Bus that has been hijacked There was a suspect holding the driver hostage Possibly a victim of a GSW on the bus Officers deployed several spike strips  Eventually the bus became disabled near Alameda & 6th St  The suspect, the driver & the innocent passenger remained in the bus  It appears the suspect would not allow the driver & passenger to escape  LAPD SWAT arrived & developed a plan  SWAT deployed a flash bang and entered the bus The bus driver jumped out of the driver side window to safety  The suspect was taken into custody  The passenger who was shot unfortunately has passed away  LAPD is still actively investigating this incident  Injured?
