My first recording of the new Radio King drums from Slingerland. As you can hear, these drums are incredibly warm sounding and full of tone. Impressive dynamic range and drums are very easy to tune. No dampening on these drums either, just tuned wide open. For me it's the perfect amount of natural decay. Drum shells are mahogany -poplar - mahogany with a maple reinforcement ring. Sizes are 14x22, 9x13, 16x16, 6.5x14. Drum heads in this video are Kentville Drums kangaroo hide heads. Recorded with overhead mics, room mics and a little touch of bass drum. No EQ.
