A further update to the Koi pond and filter winter update. A protein skimmer (foam fractionator) has been added to the biological filter. The video shows step by step how to make it and adapt it to fit 'Wrightys' filter system. Apologies to viewers who saw my first attempt at uploading the video. Unfortunately I mistakenly believed the separate scenes had been merged together. I have now replaced them with all the scenes merged together. Although, the end of the video shows the foam fractionator working and foam coming out of the pipe it does not do it justice. After the temperature warmed up the next day, the foam really started to appear and was evident in the quantity at the bottom of the bucket.
