After a long hiatus, we take some time to review a different style of beer that neither of us have really tried before. We wanted to expand out into different beer styles beyond our favorites, but also introduce people to good "intro" beers, which would be too strong in flavor and alcohol content. Today, we review Monk's Cafe Flemish Sour Red Ale . Its sweet and tart, and according to Steve, taste like bananas. It pours like a standard Red Ale, but is brewed differently to give its sweeter taste -- apparently you have to add fruit for a second fermentation. See what else we have to say about.
