Indian Pacific loco NR28 in its MK3 JB livery hauls this service. 5AP8 would usually travel onto the Midland suburban railway line to make its way to East Perth, however, the new midland station works and demolition isn't making this route available.Instead, 5AP8 will turn left when it gets to Woodbridge junction, and proceed into Forrestfield yard, then it is brought back around the Woodbridge junction, then left again, to then go to East Perth Terminal.This process is repeated for the return journey, just the other way around.
