Gigafactory Texas on 30 September 2022! This is where the Cyber Truck and Model Y will be built! Its AI Day #II for Tesla, but that doesn’t mean Giga Texas isn’t also trying to edge into the spotlight with a lot of major progress in many construction projects around the overall site today! Soo much to see in the video along with narration! Timestamps: Discussion of AI Day II and what to look for pertaining to Giga Texas: 0:06 to 0:48 Talk about WOW Yard size, trailer count & factory receiving dock #’s : 0:49 to 3:40 Drone flight footage & narration: 3:45 to 28:23 In the video intro, we discuss Tesla’s AI Day II which will be held this evening at 5:00 PDT, 7:00 CDT or 0000 GMT. In addition, we talk about the number of trailers in the WOW Yard and the temporary staging lot near the stamping machine structure, and the current number of receiving docks at the main factory building. Data provided by Patreons Tibor Palatka, Dessie Doolan and YouTube viewer Dwayne Shea. The numbers may surprise viewers who have been concerned with the apparent low number of receiving docks and unsure of the number of trailers on site as part of the Warehouse on Wheels logistics concept. Here are a few highlights from today's video: Absolutely massive progress this morning at the north electrical substation construction site, with the main graded area seeing two new excavation areas, more materials delivered, a structure going up on the newly-poured concrete slab, water detention pond concrete inlet construction on north and south ends, pole mount concrete construction & more rebar cage assembly to go into newly drilled pole mounts. South of the substation, we also see a new clearing being prepared for possible new construction, or perhaps a parking or material storage lot. Up at the battery cathode plant, we see a rapidly growing number of concrete exterior wall panels being installed on the west, south and east sides, all working to the north. Large foundation excavations are being deepened at about the middle ground slab section of the structure, while another large and heavily reinforced ground slab getting concrete poured this morning. Many interior walls have been installed, along with HVAC ducting, pipes and steam/cooling water pipes. Further to the northeast, we see the clearing area continue to be reconfigured, with new trailers and workshops making appearances. Earthwork is underway in the center section, possibly preparing for sone kind of construction project. Further northeast from here, we see the equipment rental lot in full swing, again suggesting further construction expansion in this area. The east Warehouse on Wheels (WOW) Yard expansion shows further growth on the south end, with fencing installed in a newly completed section and crews preparing trailer parking slots. Overall, there has been a lot of change here in just the past 48 hours! Over 600 available trailer parking spaces are now evident. The east new car staging and transport lot is very active this morning, suggesting an end of the quarter push and a return to normal operations in this new location while clearing out the temporary concrete lot on the south side of the main building! On the Body-in-White (BIW) roof, we see the opened section of the roof has had HVAC ducting railings installed, with four rectangular mounting locations. These ducts are temporarily stored nearby on the roof as well. On the south parking and transport concrete lot, we see the large section on the west side is getting the last section of concrete removed, while in two other areas, on center and the other on the east side have had saw cuts to prepare for expanded concrete demolition and reconfiguration work. Finally, we see landscaping work making progress with planted trees and smaller bushes bear the new concrete wall on the berm, with many more plants waiting for installation.
