⁠In June of 2020, the Thirdi Team celebrated the HUGE milestone that Eaton on Union has topped out. ⁠ ⁠ The practise of ‘topping out’ a new building can be traced back to the ancient Scandinavian tradition of placing a tree on the top of a new building welcoming new members to a tribe, appeasing spirits that have been displaced by the new building and a symbol of good luck and prosperity for all who reside there. ⁠ ⁠ There are many different stories that have been passed down through traditions and cultures however, whatever the intention, all stories say the evergreen symbolises positive things. To us, this represents good luck for future occupants.
