Our next challenge is to make the complete fuel system operational. Several people suggested that I just connect an external fuel tank to the car for the initial start-up, but the fuel tank needs to be handled eventually, and I decided that there was no better time than the present. The trick here was to clean out the fuel tank while preserving the originality - and in MY mind, that meant leaving the tank in the car. I'm very happy to report that we had great success here!
