Nova Scotia to Key West by bike: New England edition

As probably millions of you are aware by now, Mr. E is (for reasons unknown) cycling from Nova Scotia to Key West. But heroes do hero things, and in this installment, Mr. E crosses into the US, starting in Maine and then into the tiny-ass states of New Hampshire and Vermont. E is following the Eastern Divide Trail, and this portion is segment 3, from Houlton, Maine to Poultney, Vermont. I called ol’ Thunder Thighs recently, and he said “why are you calling instead of texting? Are you like 94?” So I take that to mean he’s in good spirits and rolling on down the gravel paths before him. Carry on, Mr. E! ******* I still have never had a lobster roll. All the lobster roll trucks I saw were closed when I was passing by, and I don’t really go to restaurants. In this video I’m off route a bit in some places due to a couple of route closures and the threat of freezing rain in the northern Adirondacks. This trail segment ends at the New York border in Poultney, Vermont. From Poultney the next segment begins, taking me all the way to State College, Pennsylvania.
