When Ambulances Are Busy, Montgomery County Deputies Step In

Many people know the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for law enforcement, but several of our deputies are also certified Emergency Medical Technicians. When local ambulances are tied up and staffing allows, these deputies are trained and ready to assist with medical emergencies. Our EMT trained deputies carry jump bags and medical equipment in their patrol vehicles and can help begin patient care, assist EMS crews on scene, ride in with patients, or help transport when needed. Law enforcement remains our first priority, but when we are available, we are proud to support our EMS partners and help ensure the residents of Montgomery County receive the care they need.
