Join me for two deep yin yoga practices in which we will hold both postures and rebounds for longer, allowing us to really listen to the body. This video is part 1, focusing on the lower body. In this 90 minute practice we will work on providing a healthy stress to the fascia of the glutes, hips and legs. As poses are held for up to 6 minutes, I’d encourage you to pull back from any inclination to ‘push yourself’ in this practice, be kind to yourself and choose a pose variation you can comfortably hold for an extended period. If at any time you feel sharp pain, tingling sensations, or simply need to pull back a little, please take accountability for your own practice and adjust the position as required. The good news is that rebounds between postures are also extended to around 3 minutes in this sequence. I hope you enjoy this practice and also join me for part 2, focusing on the upper body.
