Up early for a run through the rain in the big paddock for Skylar the Labrador and Romeo the Samoyed, family siblings celebrating their birthdays together with a sleepover at the farm. Milo ordered freshly cooked salmon for brekky, Spirit the horse was cranky hers was running late, the puppies discovered puddles for the first time with Evie jumping in with her flippers on. All before the bus arrived! Koda the Malamute was first to say good morning to Wolf. We welcomed Freddy the 14 week old Whippet to the pack. Boston is a champion big ball popper. At lunchtime, Wolf has now joined the pack in his little seat watching over the gathering and joining in on the conversation with his babbles. Penny found the puddles under the tables and laid on the mud thick for lunch. Yoyo slept in the sun, just like our Joey does, taking any minute he can to rest because being a farm dog every day is hard work. Daisy the Poodle has become a walking fish. She loves her Uncle Luke so much she can’t let him get to far out before she walks on in after him! Wolf slept through the whole pool session, even when a wave splashed him from Gillie capsizing the SUP … still asleep! At the end of the day, Skylar and Romeo shared cake, the doggies had their own cheese pizza and Uncle Yo helped Freddy through his social shyness. Great day, hope you all had one too!
