This is the first Random Gauntlet Contest entry I'm uploading on the channel, which is a bit late compared to the other recent official contests. That's mostly because this contest got less entries, and it also seemed like the participating ones were taking longer to finish their ideas given the harder rules. I know I missed a couple good ones, though, which I will get to uploading very soon, either publicly or unlisted. A playlist of all the entries will be set up soon. As usual, I will not be reviewing these entries much before the results are out, since I'm one of the judges. However, I will probably explain the randomization a bit in these descriptions, since that's the main draw of this contest. For this entry, galofuf did different randomization per part. To give some examples: In the first ship section, whether you have to go up or down (following the arrows) is randomized, while the part at 0:55 selects 6 out of 8 chunks in random order to play, with most being references to existing levels by other creators. I was thinking of showing two completions of some of these entries in my videos, especially when there are major differences between each version, but for this level I figured it is pretty clear what would change from seeing just one completion. Let me know what you think about this idea, though. As you may have seen, the deadline was delayed by roughly a month, which hopefully allows more people to finish in time. I know that it's not the most fair for creators who actually planned around the original deadline and would finish in time, so I'm hoping we can avoid extensions altogether in the future.
