Whether you're a lover of architecture or a foodie, Riga has something for every traveler! Come along with me as I explore Riga, Latvia in 48 hours! filmed August 2019 Riga is Latvia's capital and sits on the Baltic Sea. I will be the first to admit that Latvia was not high on my travel list, but after hearing it come up so often in travel groups, I had to visit to see what all the fuss was about. Although I only had 48 hours to explore Riga, it quickly became one of my favorite European cities! While in Riga, I tried to squeeze in as much as possible. I spent a large portion of my time in Old Town Riga where I soaked up amazing panoramic views of Riga from St. Peter's Church, marveled at the architectural design of the House of the Blackheads, the Cat House, and the Three Brothers. Sampled delicious food at the Riga Central Market and LIDO. Added perk?
