My first home birth with my third baby girl. Harder than I imagined, but so dreamy and worth it. My first birth with twins was a 4 hour whirlwind of fast premature labor, so this was my first full term baby, and little did we know, she surprised us all by being BREECH. We had no idea and it was a total shock. It was about 14 hours of active labor and I had intense back labor — much more difficult than my first birth, but it makes sense now. I am so grateful to have had my dream of having a water birth under all the twinkly lights. Truly magical.
