It is a very broad church with so many people finding more effective relief from the myriad of frankly dangerous and addictive prescribed solutions. Stephen the facilitator's issues are more from the 'Nerve Pain' rather than spasticity end of the MS spectrum. So in this talk we get 3 very different types of pain conditions and all being treated with Cannabis. Miriam Haskin also a co-founder of Irish Canna Clinic is actually another who embarked on her own journey going from a cannabis patient in Ireland to an industry worker in Canada. Miriam returned to Ireland in 2020 after her GP and Consultant were successful in securing a license for Medical Cannabis. She brings invaluable lived knowledge to her coaching within the Canna Clinic. Her most recent role in Canada as the National Educator for one of the world’s largest producers brings a unique insight to the good and the bad of regulating and legalising cannabis. Alicia Maher has another incredible Canna story. She suffered from chronic pain since complication from surgery in 2006. Cannabis has replaced over 30 opioids a day for Alicia and she now uses cannabis to exclusively manage her pain. She is currently undertaking a PhD in the regulation of cannabis for medical purposes in Ireland. Her journey has meant she has moved her life to Spain to safely access the medical cannabis products she needs. Chronic Pain sufferers are the embodiment of the global opioid crisis that is causing so much damage and Cannabis is the answer!!
