Your next employer has long term contracts in place to provide support to Defence and some of Australia’s biggest mining companies. They can offer a job security like few others currently. This role is permanent full time Monday to Friday with OT available as well. They also have a state of the art workshop with all the equipment you need to do your job. They require a skilled Fitter and Turner with high level knowledge working with Electric machinery such as motors, pumps and generators. Your major responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Take apart, diagnose faults and rebuild all sorts of pumps, generators, electric motors and gearboxes Complete preventative maintenance on pumps, electric motors, generators and gearboxes Safely perform all tests / electrical tests required Complete all necessary paperwork associated with the job in a thorough and legible manner You will need... Trade Qualifications Experience in repairing and Servicing electric motors and pumps Sound understanding of WHS principals
