Storm Chandra | Major storm hits Penzance and Porthleven | Cornwall

Another Major Storm - Chandra - hit Cornwall on Tuesday 27th January 2025 bringing strong winds and heavy rain. I started the day at Porthleven to see mountainous waves just off shore and then transferred to Penzance, where the promenade saw high waves and spray. Then I noticed that the Scillonian, in dock for the winter, was getting soaked by waves hitting the harbour wall so I took cover by the Dolphin Tavern and watched the show. At one stage the wind really increased and everything felt a little unsafe! I was pleased to be sheltered by the pub throughout this. Thanks for watching.
