Various of suspect being led away by police STORYLINE: Thai police brought one of the key suspects in the Bangkok bombing to within a few metres (yards) of the scene of the attack, early on Wednesday morning. Surrounded by police officers and guarded by several heavily armed commandoes the man spent around about an hour across the road from the Erawan Shrine. An explosion tore through the popular city centre site on the evening of August 17 killing 20 people and injuring more than 120. Mierili, who wore body armour throughout, pointed several times towards the shrine as he talked with investigators.
