A quick video run through of my Lone Peak Camper and some of the stuff I have done to make it suitable for my needs. Lone Peak has phenomenal customer service and a very active facebook group of owners. If you are looking at one of these campers but you are on the fence, I highly recommend visiting the owners page and reaching out to LP. I personally haven't run into any problems with my camper yet, but a few folks with earlier models have. LP has always been very quick to help those owners rectify their issues and are constantly improving their manufacturing and installation process to ensure said issues don't happen again. This is one of the cheapest wedge campers on the market, and so far for me, bang for the buck has been incredible. If you want to see the camper in person and you live in the greater Denver metro, give me a shout! I'd be happy to try and meet up with you so you can climb in and check it out. All of my storage boxes are built with 1/2 inch baltic birch plywood, wood glue, and screws, I would have preferred brad nails, but didn't have the tools to do it. I sealed the boxes with polyurethane to prolong their life of living in a truck bed. If I were to build them again, I would design the lids differently so I could also open them from outside the truck while reaching through the side panel. Camper likes: -Affordability -Liveability -Comfort -Customer Support Camper dislikes: -A bit heavy -Mounting puck design isn't the best (get six instead of four) -Looks like the anodisation of the aluminium will fade pretty quickly. -Side panels can scratch easily This is my first video and I learned a ton filming it and editing it, so I am hoping new videos improve as the months go on.
