Is This The Perfect Pellet Grill For You? The Traeger Ironwood pellet grill is one of Traeger's best in their line up! I am very impressed with the technology they added to this pit. I really like the build quality on this pellet smoker compared to old Traeger models. I am very impressed how tight the lid is on this pit so all the smoke escapes out the downdraft exhaust!! The Ironwood XL has plenty of great features but that controller is one of the best in the market. I really do not have a lot to complain about on this pellet smoker and yes this pellet grill can smoke!!
