Another quick video of some fabric I screen printed for trade show booth. Printed in my new studio in West Philly with an assistant on my 8 yard table. I use a standard rail/stop system for printing. The metal "stops" are changed for each design to match it's repeat distance. Every other stop is printed so the ink can dry in between. To speed up this process I made a rolling dryer that dries the ink so the screen can be placed on the print and design filled in. Once the table is completely printed the dryer is used to quickly dry the entire table. It's hooked up to a motor to make this process automatic. Boring technical information: The fabric is #10 canvas (15 ounce), 100% cotton Ink is Spectrachem, a commercial water-based ink system. Squeegee is a 70 durometer, Ball (rounded) end. Screen mesh is 110 Screen size is 43 x 64 (my standard screen size) Thanks for watching!
