Kate Winslet, John C. Reilly and Christopher Waltz were greeted with press and screaming fans at the festival site where they arrived without their controversial director. Polanski''s latest film is an adaptation of Yasmina Reza''s stage work "God of Carnage." "Carnage" is one of 23 films which is showing in the competition which runs until 10 September.
