Having been with out rain for seemingly a century now, we decided to revisit a favorite place we've been to often. Kings Bluff Falls and the Pedestal Rocks Scenic area, located near Sand Gap in the Ozarks, is a popular place. Mostly known for some outstanding views from up on the bluffs of the two loops of hiking trails here, a simple google search can help you find most of what you'd need to know. We've been here for sunrises, sunsets, to hike the trails, and to visit the waterfalls here several times. For more of what to expect on this hike, read on. To skip to waypoints & other location info, scroll on down - but please consider SUBSCRIBING if you've found this free information useful. We'd appreciate that, and thanks for watching! Most visitors here would follow either (or both) of the trail loops here and maybe drop down at Kings Bluff to see the bottom of Kings Bluff Falls. If you'd like to see what else is underneath the trails, then here you now have it! Super Leeds loves this area, and we've bushwhacked down under in the past. Pedestal Rock Falls: • Pedestal Rock Falls, Trail & Bushwhack - ... As for this video - well, going down under Kings Bluff is indeed a bushwhack, and still a lot of thorny thicket stuff to navigate. Going under the Pedestal Rock side is a lot easier to work your way around, and the caves there are much more impressive too. The Takahik group from Russellville has some awesome stuff in general, and they have done an outstanding job in identifying cave and waterfall names in this area. If he sees or senses deer he'll chase. Water trumps everything for him though. This respects the "Leave no Trace" principles, please do likewise. We adventure often, and he is very well trained now (and patient with me) with regard to climbs and scrambles. Know the limits of your dog, and your ability to handle it if you elect to take it. In these videos, you will sometimes see a small tribute to my son, Josh Rogers, who unexpectedly passed in June 2018. Rest in much Love Joshman. "I remember him every day, I tell stories about him.
