It can crimp copper and aluminium lugs ranging from 10 mm to 300 mm in diameter, with a single‑press operation for sizes up to 240 mm and a two‑press cycle for larger cables. Bimetallic aluminium lugs can be crimped up to 185 mm thanks to the tool’s oversized barrel. The system is dieless, so no die changes are needed when switching between copper and aluminium. An optional “MRS Plus” feature lets the operator preset the hydraulic ram’s stop point, reducing cycle time by roughly ten seconds per three crimps, which adds up significantly on large jobs. The tool also offers a quick‑reset button on the back and a single‑button, one‑press operation for ease of use.
