Highlights from my visit to the Memphis Zoo on August 20, 2022. For the second zoo in a row I’ve managed to compile my longest highlights package so far! Our trip through the Memphis Zoo will begin with an abundance of felines of all varieties, followed by four minutes of footage featuring rare smaller mammals in the zoo’s nocturnal building, including the only Bear Cuscus in the United States. Primate Canyon is home to host of playful primates, and the Zambezi River Hippo Camp will be highlighted by feeding time for their Nile Crocodiles! Next up is a Grizzly Bear pool party, where it seems to be raining snacks. A quick stop in the African Veldt will showcase the zoo’s largest residents, and the highlights just keep getting better with some of America’s few Giant Pandas, before we wrap up with a number of smaller creatures from the Herpetarium, Aquarium and Tropical Bird House. Information presented in this video about the Memphis Zoo came from the zoo’s website or social media pages, or from public online articles.
