Unlike the COMAND package's screen, the Audio20 has thicker bezel and housing that hold the display so standard 'overlay' is not really possible. It's done through inserting the touch panel 'under' the bezel. Q. Why use USB to AUX adapter? A. The carplay unit of ours only has AUX output and the car doesn't have aux input, hence we need to utilize the whatever external audio source the car grants. Q. Can you fit the genuine COMAND 8.4" display to the car with Audio20? A. Yes and No. - It will fit to the dash but won't be compatible with the headunit. You will need every single COMAND package parts to be retrofitted and It will cost more than what you could pay for It back in dealership. ---------------------
