Parkland Walk, London [HD]: 18th September 2021

Parkland walk is a nature reserve in London that follows the course of a railway line that used to run between Finsbury Park and Alexandra Palace through Stroud Green, Crouch End, Highgate and Muswell Hill. You wouldn't know it was a former railway track except for the old train platforms of Crouch End, and perhaps some of the bridges that you cross. Along the way there is a giant spriggan scuplture, numerous graffiti, and a bat sanctuary. I walked it from north to south which makes most of the path downhill or flat. It's an easy walk, but a unique one. The route is split into the northern and southerly sections as the route avoids the section (for safety reasons) that formerly served Highgate and the adjoining tunnels.
