I bought a box of 56 "Junk" Famicom Disk System games for £3 each. The seller said they were untested. The labels said one thing. The magnetic data said another. After spending £1150 on a single Neo Geo game in my last video, I needed to fix my finances. The plan was simple: buy a massive "Junk" lot of Japanese Famicom disks to save money over buying individual games. But the Famicom Disk System is fragile. These magnetic disks rot, de-magnetize, and break. And because of the Nintendo Disk Writer kiosks from the 80s, the sticker on the front doesn't always match the game inside. In this video, we’re going through the stack to find out if I wasted my money on yellow plastic scrap, or if I accidentally bought a fortune. We find "broken" games that work perfectly, "rare" games that have been overwritten, and one specific hidden gem that changes everything. This is the reality of collecting retro games in 2026. It's not just about the shelf; it's about the gamble. Music: [Game Footage Montage Music 'Night Crawler' by Karl Casey@White Bat Audio.
