This incredible photo, taken over 120 years ago, shows John Henry Smith and his son proudly standing beside their day’s catch — a table full of fish. The image was kindly sent to me by John Henry Smith’s great-grandson, Neal Smith. I restored this photo a few months ago and am only now sharing the full process — it’s one of those restorations that truly brings history back to life.
