The case highlights the application of the Income Tax Act 1967, particularly Section 4(a), Section 4(f), and Section 113(2), as well as the imposition of additional assessment and penalties by the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM). The video also demonstrates the appeal process and the discretionary reduction of penalties based on cooperation and voluntary disclosure. This project is prepared for academic purposes to enhance understanding of tax compliance, digital income reporting, and the responsibilities of taxpayers under the Self-Assessment System in Malaysia.
