Welcome to my channel!! I’m so happy you’re here ☀️ This video is part of a series documenting my 2025 thru hike attempt of the Appalachian Trail! New videos will be coming out every few days. I’m excited to have you along for the journey. Today, I hit another milestone - the 100 mile marker!!! The morning climb out of Standing Indian Shelter to the top of Standing Indian wasn't bad at all. I shared the morning miles with White Wolf (aka the man with the guitar). I had a grand plan of watching the sunset from the top of Albert Mountain, but #1 it was on the wrong side and #2 there was a group of rowdy kids camping up there. So Kevin and I headed on to Long Branch Shelter after taking lots of photos. Whtie Wolf played music by the fire, and Jolly told a story about the night sky. Nights like these are what it's all about - putting in the miles, lots of smiles, and a night ended by the campfire with friends. *Note: You'll see a campfire in this video. This was NOT when the burn ban was in place in North Carolina. Please always be sure to check local listings and practice proper fire care, especially with so much on the ground following Hurricane Helene.
