KAOS Gear Demo - Nash Guitars LP-60 Les Paul Conversion

KAOS Guitar Manager Lou Roppoli demonstrates another fantastic Les Paul Conversion by Bill Nash. For those unfamiliar with Nash's Les Paul conversions, we've sent Bill a real Gibson Les Paul that we had in the store and he worked his magic, stripping the finish from the guitar, refinishing it with thin nitrocellulose lacquer in a period-correct cherry sunburst finish and then lightly relic-ing the guitar to give it the patina of a vintage 1960 Les Paul. He also swaps out the stock Gibson pickups for a pair of Dimarzios, a Bluesbucker in the neck and and Air Norton in the bridge position. Bill also has a unique way of wiring the tone controls to split the pickups. From 0-8 the tone pots function as normal but once you turn the tone past 8 it splits the coil and creates single-coil sounds, making his Les Paul conversions super versatile.
