20 years ago we came to Iona for our honeymoon. thank you to my long suffering wife for putting up with me for this time lol, was so good to see this place again. It inspired us to start hiking and wild camping, we got permission off the land owner to camp on the north side of the island and would like to thank him for being so kind as allowing us this privilege it is a glorious place... When I got back home I went to visit a dear lady that only had hours left to live. As I drove to the hospital I passed a beautiful bride outside a church just getting in the wedding car. Only two hundred metres further on was my friend, suffering in terrible pain. I am convinced that life is a series of seasons, some are so full of joy and expectancy and others never seem to end. Agnes went to be with The Lord 5:00 AM the next morning. It is so easy to enjoy life when everything is going our way, but what are we like when trouble and pain and illness, loneliness or rejection come our way?
