8 Days, 1 River: Suwannee River Kayak Adventure Our 8 day kayaking camping trip lived up to all expectations. Kayaking the Suwannee River has been on our bucket list for a while now. This trip has opened my eyes to why kayaking the Suwannee is talked about so much. Our camping trip brough us through natural springs, past historic bath houses, an much more. You'll find family-friendly amenities and some of the best kayaking experiences in Florida waters. The following state parks have campsites that you can use on the first long distance kids trail in Florida. The main reason for choosing this route is a week of paddling down the Suwannee rivers, with river camps, campgrounds, lodges, and primitive campgrounds on sandy beaches along the way.
