Title: Paying Off My Capfin Loan Was The BEST Financial Decision *Welcome Back to the Channel! 🌟* Hey everyone! It's super early, and I'm about to head off to work, but I couldn't wait to share some fantastic news with you. Today marks a major milestone in my debt-free journey-I've just closed my Capfin loan! 🎉 I'm beyond relieved and excited to walk you through this experience, the lessons I've learned, and what's next on my financial path. In a previous video, I mentioned that I had paid off the loan, but I wanted to make a dedicated video celebrating this achievement. So, let's dive in! *A Quick Backstory:* I initially took out the Capfin loan to buy a heat press machine-a purchase I was thrilled about since it allowed me to print and sell hoodies through my WhatsApp store. It was a great investment at the time, but as I became more serious about my finances, I realized that saving up might have been a better option than borrowing. But, lessons learned! The loan was a six-month commitment, and after making consistent payments, July was the final month. I also paid a settlement fee of around R500 to close it off completely. 🙌 Debt can be a real burden, even if you're making minimum payments. There's an emotional toll that comes with owing money. As the saying goes, "The borrower is a slave to the lender." Making that last payment was an immense relief and a huge step forward. Reflecting on this, I've learned the value of patience and saving for purchases instead of rushing into loans. While the heat press machine was a great investment, I now understand the importance of avoiding debt where possible. *What's Next?* I still have two more debts to tackle: my Mobicred account and the credit for my iMac, totaling around R25,000. My goal is to pay these off by December. Here's my plan: 1. *Focus on the Mobicred account:* This revolving debt requires active management. 2. *Pay off the iMac debt:* Standard monthly payments will finish this one off in November. 3. *Stick to my budget:* This is my game plan for surviving this journey. If you're on your own debt-free journey, stay focused and keep pushing forward. We're in this together, and each payment brings us closer to financial freedom! 💪💰
