Guest: PETER HAIMERL upon invitation by Professor Bader. PETER HAIMERL is a Munich based architect. He founded his office in 1991 and has ever since focused on crossing the boundaries of conventional architecture. With every project, HAIMERL is aiming to find fascinating, extraordinary, innovative design solutions. His conceptual working process is influenced by a number of experts from varying backgrounds. These collaborations allow for holistic concepts fusioning architecture with computational design, sociology, economics, politics, music and concept art. HAIMERL has been teaching at Fachhochschule München, Hochschule für Bildende Künste Braunschweig as well as Universität Kassel. Since 2019 he has been professor for architecture at Universität für künstlerische und industrielle Gestaltung Linz. About: The UdK Tuesday lectures have been organized at the Institute for Architecture and Urban Development at the Berlin University of the Arts since 2005. In over 200 issues, professionals from the fields of architecture and theory have presented their work and discussed it with students, teachers and interested guests.
