Rone is an internationally renowned street artist. His latest masterpiece is the Omega project in an old house set for demolition. The house, previously owned by Joe - a plaster - was the last to sell his house to the Yarrabend property development project. Old Joe resisted selling the property because he had a small plaster factory. He used to restore a lot of the plaster work for the period homes in the area. Joe felt the that if he sold the business, the trade would be lost. Joe struck a deal with the developer to sell but allow Joe to stay at the property for as long as he wanted. Joe sadly died 18 months ago. The house has been sitting vacant since that time. The Omega Project re-creates elements of a classic mid-century Australian home in its fragile final moments.
