First video of 2026, and to start off, is something really related to last year, Bradford 2025 when it was the UK City of Culture. This focuses on the long lost Queensbury Lines, the former GNR lines around Bradford, that ran between Bradford, Queensbury, Halifax and Keighley. In preparation for the City of Culture Event, the Great Northern Society visit Ryan on Sodor, to interview him about his time on the Queensbury Lines. Ryan was excited about it, and Gordon was impressed about it. Spencer at first was sceptical, but then warmed and grew interested about the ex-GNR Queensbury Lines when he got the job of taking the GNR Society to Ryan at Harwick. James, having worked for the former L&Y and Daisy were most hostile toward Ryan and even went on at Gordon at it, prompting an intervention from Spencer. This video also features footage from me filmed at the site of Thornton Station, Thornton Viaduct (where they filmed that episode for Last of the Summer Wine, Three Men and a Mangle) and the Hewenden Viaduct on 03/01/2026, however I was losing light, so I didn't do filming in Cullingworth, and for a few other reasons.
