This was supposed to be a quick overnight trip to the Chilliwack River area. The plan was simple: explore, find a route back to the highway, and be home by evening. But when our planned route was blocked by a deactivation sign, we checked the map and realized where we actually were - the Mount Cheam Forest Service Road, the access road to a popular hiking trail that's known for keeping most vehicles away.
