The 82nd Airborne Division jumped into Normandy on D-Day near the town of Sainte Mère Église and they wasted no time liberating the town. Over the following days numerous photos and films were taken by the men of the Signal Corps units documenting the Allied Landings in Normandy as part of Operation Overlord.
