Maldon’s New Banking Hub Is Coming! A Big Change for Local Banking 🏦 Banks may have left the high street — but a new solution is arriving in Maldon. I recently visited the Rochford Banking Hub - it's designed to bring convenient banking back to the heart of the community. There’s even a free-to-use ATM on site (inside at Rochford, and outside at some other locations). Now the good news: Maldon’s own Banking Hub is opening in just a few weeks. • It will begin as a temporary hub at Maldon District Council’s offices • It will later move to a permanent location near Maldon High Street • It will provide everyday banking services in one shared, community-focused space With more than 200 banking hubs across the UK — and Rochford believed to be the first in England — these hubs are proving to be a credible and practical alternative where traditional bank branches have closed.
