This time, I set off on my bike with the Insta360 X5, exploring the blend of old and new in Shenzhen’s Longgang District. Starting from Nanling Village, passing through the vibrant Hehu New Area, and cruising along the wide Longgang Avenue, I experienced the district’s deep history and dynamic growth. Located in the northeast of Shenzhen, Longgang is one of the city’s key districts. Its history dates back to the Qing Dynasty, with Hakka culture deeply rooted here. Traditional Hakka walled houses, ancestral halls, and ancient wells can still be found in some villages. Nanling Village is a classic example, with its charming alleys and strong clan heritage, while nearby Hehu New Area showcases modern urban planning and prosperity. Longgang is not only rich in cultural heritage but also a vital economic hub for Shenzhen. With thriving high-tech industries, manufacturing, and modern services, it has developed into a region where industrial parks coexist with innovation centers. In recent years, the district has focused on urban renewal and environmental improvements, creating bike lanes and greenways for residents and visitors to explore. It was a sunny day, and under the blue sky, I captured every moment of the ride with the Insta360 X5.
