Short Description: Stable Diffusion remake of an old 16mm film I made in 1988, ControlNet, Loopback, and R-ESRGAN-4x upscale. Long Detailed Description: Let's Get Medical is a 16mm with VFX film I made with Peter Juneau, Robb Gardner, Joe Darin, Sophia Longoria, and others in San Francisco about the year 1988. It is the tragic story of Dr. Scott, a professional man who is a failing surgeon. When he goes home at night he is once again the hero as his fantasy world comes to life, medical tools, former patients, and happy organic creatures welcome him back to dance and frolic till dawn. In April of 2023 I decided to remix the short film with Standard Diffusion AI running local with Visions of Chaos, auto111 webUI, and whatever extensions gave the best results. First used Premiere to export 4393 small png frames, size 768 x 512 (regretfully scanned the film low rez at Tippet Studios for free), with small color correction, and sharpening. These frames go through Stable Diffusion, model Deliberate_v2.ckpt, batch, ControlNet Depth and linearArt (control weight = 1 for both), loopback = ON (this helps smooth the jerky animation), steps = 20, CFG = 7, Euler a, seed = 234, and denoise = 0.15 (this most important number increases freakiness or the contribution of the text prompt). After the full sequence was generated out at the small size I then batch ran it through R-ESRGAN-4x denoise = 0.1 for a higher resolution of 2880 x 1920.
