I finally figured out how to do a hexagonal repeat in Procreate!! Nerd Level Pattern Making!

I know what you’re thinking—publishing this on April 1st makes it seem like some kind of elaborate joke. But trust me, this is very real (and if you’ve ever tried to make a perfect hexagonal repeat in Procreate, you’ll know the struggle is no laughing matter! 😅). This is an advanced Procreate pattern tutorial, and we’re going full nerd mode to crack the perfect mathematical hexagonal repeat. I'm sharing this more for the process than the end result, there are definitely easier and less finicky ways to make a hexagon pattern, but sometimes the challenge of making something work in Procreate is a reward of it's own!! For years, I struggled to find a tutorial that used proper angles and snapping instead of just eyeballing it. I nearly gave up—until I had a brainwave that finally solved it! 🎉 This method doesn’t require vector software like Adobe Illustrator—it’s all done in Procreate! So, if you love a challenge and want to master geometric repeats, this tutorial is for you.
