JAHRELANGER SCHUTZ GEGEN UMWELTEINFLÜSSE Beim Neubau seines Wohn- und Geschäftshauses im hessischen Schwalbach setzte der Bauherr („Das Bauteam“) eine zweikomponentige Poly­urethan-Dachbeschichtung ein, mit feuchtigkeitshärtendem und lichtbeständigem Polyurethan Top Coat. Er ließ das Dach mit zwei unterschiedlichen Beschichtungen versiegeln und kann nun jahrelang Umwelteinwirkungen trotzen. DIE ERSTE BESCHICHTUNG Für die erste Beschichtung des Daches verwendete Ralf Szameitat Sikalastic-851, eine zweikomponentige, füllstofffreie, rasch härtende Polyure­thankombination. Das Material ist innerhalb einer Minute wasserundurchlässig. Es bietet durch das Auftragen mehrerer Schichten fugenlosen Schutz. Selbst bei extremen Umwelteinflüssen kann kein Wasser ins Dach gelangen. Das Bauteam versprühte das Material mit der WIWA DUOMIX PU 460 und der WIWA GUN PU 4040. Die WIWA DUOMIX PU 460 ist eine leistungsstarke 2K-Misch- und Dosieranlage für die Verarbeitung von PU-Schaum, Polyurethan und Polyurea. DIE ZWEITE BESCHICHTUNG Nachdem die erste Schicht vollständig getrocknet war, applizierten die Fachmänner als Top Coat eine zweite Beschichtung auf alle Dachbereiche: Sikalastic-621 TC in Weiß mit einer Schichtstärke von 500 My. Sie verarbeiteten das Material mit der WIWA AIRLESS 270/88:1 und der WIWA Pistole 500 F. YEARS OF PROTECTION AGAINST ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT When he built his new residential and business complex in Schwalbach, Hessen, Germany, the builder (“Das Bauteam”) used two-component polyurethane based roof coating material with a moisture hardening and light resistant polyurethane top coat. He had the roof sealed with two different coatings, thanks to which he is now in a position to prevent environmental damages for years to come. THE FIRST COAT Ralf Szameitat used Sikalistic-851, a fast setting, two-component polyurethane that does not contain any fillers, for the first coating of the roof. This material is waterproof after just a minute. The application of multiple coats provides gap free protection. Even if the weather conditions are extreme, water will not be able to penetrate the roof. “Das Bauteam” used the WIWA DUOMIX 460 and the WIWA PU 4040 GUN to apply the material. The WIWA DUOMIX PU 460 is a powerful 2K mixing and dosing system for the processing of PU foam, polyurethane and polyurea. THE SECOND COAT Once the first coat was completely dry, the experts applied a second coating to all parts of the roof as a top coat: Sikalastic 621 TC in white with a layer thickness of 500 m. They used a WIWA AIRLESS 270/88:1 and a WIWA 500 F gun to apply the material.
