We’re leaving Weymouth at the end of April, heading north through Hertfordshire and Peterborough, up to Edinburgh for the Edinburgh Marathon. Then a bit of the NC500, maybe Skye, back via Newcastle, across to Wales, Ireland, Spain, Italy, the Balkans, Budapest, Prague and eventually Frankfurt Marathon before crawling back to the UK in November. Loose plan. Tight Schengen allowance. Mild panic. There’s still logistics to sort, a bike rack to fit, and a stubborn door latch to fix. But the big decision is made.
